Artful Inspiration - You’re Not Finished Yet

Quote-David Viscott

You’re Not Finished Yet

At your core, you’re whole and complete. You are who you are, and who you are is PERFECT.

However, due to programming from a lifetime of influence by your family, friends, marketing, advertising, and society at large, you have a few layers of belief and falsehood covering up the true you.

There is a YOU inside that wants to come out. There is an authentic brilliance that burns to express itself, and it may take some work to get there.

Fortunately, you can start the process TODAY. Here a few tips to help you get started.

1.     Start meditating every day.

Set aside at least 10 minutes a day to sit down, be still and focus on your breath. This will give you the ability to hear the subtle hints and influence of your deepest pull and preferences.

2.     Imagine your ideal life.

What would you be doing if you could do whatever you wanted? What would you wear? What would you drive? Who would you spend time with? This is not exactly what your ideal life truly looks like, but it’s a bold step in the right direction.

3.     Take action.

Based on the results of #2, take another step toward your ideal life. Start learning a new language. Visit a new coffee shop. Read a new kind of book. Begin to become the “you” that you wish to be.

With intention and a few well-placed steps, you can drastically transform your life and take the lid off your light in a relatively short amount of time.

What might the NEW YOU look like?
